Port Miou Expedition

Day Two

Arno and Michael, the makers of the EDO-4. No this is not a scene from an old Cheech & Chong movie.

This appeared at the Calanque of Port Miou, an order from the Mayor of Cassis closing access to the area. An escaped black panther was spotted by an eagle eyed passer-by in the calanque an the area was closed whilst hunters searched for it. In the end it turned out to be a large, black house cat. Bizarrely, someone, somewhere must have reported a missing black panther. I wish I was making this up...

Rodney Nairne attempts to get some free advertising for Silent Submersion scooters. And it worked too...

The calanque of Port Miou. Yacht harbour, blue sea, amazing cave, fantastic desert landscape and an escaped black panther. What else could you ask for?
Jerome with his pet scooters.
"Look I told you yesterday, you cannot make me do this. It's no use begging!!!"
Suzi Dudas preparing to dive. On her shoulder is the new Halcyon compact HID light complete with the large silver micro ballast.
Five divers discuss how to carry two small UV-18 scooters between them.
Suzi, passing whilst carrying a UV-36 to the water, tries to offer a suggestion. The replies in French are difficult to translate.
Today has been sponsored mostly by SILENT SUBMERSION.
Suzi Dudas prepares to enter the water when she sees the abuse that her scooters are taking at the hands of Frenchmen.
How could Nico find himself in this perfect position and pass up the opportunity to shove Jerome in the water? What a waste!!!
